According to the FBI, Farhani is plotting to assassinate current and former US officials, including former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. FBI has also issued an alert in Miami regarding Farahani. The FBI has asked people to immediately report any clue about Farahani. The FBI says that Farahani is a spy for Iran's Intelligence and Security Ministry. He is recruiting agents in America to assassinate American officials. According to the FBI, Farhani is continuously recceing religious places, business places and other places. In December 2023, the Treasury Department had banned Farhani.

FBI के मुताबिक, फरहानी लगातार धार्मिक जगहों, कारोबारी स्थान और अन्य जगहों की रेकी कर रहा है. दिसंबर 2023 में ट्रेज़री डिपार्टमेंट ने फरहानी पर बैन लगाया था.
