Israeli security forces have detained three individuals suspected of engaging in espionage on behalf of Iranian intelligence. The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the National Unit for International Investigations exposed a network linked to Iranian intelligence posing as foreign entities. Following a collaborative investigation with the Israel Police, three Israeli citizens were interrogated over the past fortnight for allegedly conducting espionage activities within Israel under Iranian direction. Among them is Elimelech Stern, 21, from Beit Shemesh, who communicated via Telegram with a profile named "Anna Elena," tasked with carrying out assignments in Israel.
