Learning from the Best - FritzyBeat hugs Neighsayer

This is a song about Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight how to fly after she earned her wings. =)
I've been wanting to sing over one of Neighsayer's tracks for a long time, as his work has inspired me immensly over the last couple years X3 I often throw on a playlist of his music whenever I'm drawing, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing to and just letting your mind wander into dreamland.

I'd actually started writing these lyrics with Sights Unseen back in March of 2015, and finished them over the course of about a week. They then proceeded to sit around unfinished until just a few days ago when out of the blue I received a message from Neighsayer asking about doing a collab sometime. I was super thrilled to find out he actually knew about and liked my work, and decided to finally buckle down and finish this song as a little thank you to him ^_^

So yeah, I hope you enjoy this little thing Sights, Jastrian, and myself put together for you, Neighsayer~ I tried to go for something extra whimsical and cutsie with a bit of comedic twist (like with the line "You and me aloft without a care, but I'd care if I fell down there", I really like that one XD), so hopefully I didn't butcher your original vision ;3

And of course, for all the rest of you absolutely lovely people watching this video, a HUGE thank you to every single one of you! As always, I feel so blessed to have people like you willing to listen to the silly little things I make :'D I am incredibly thankful for all of you ^u^ I hope you all like it too =)

Dumb fact: the working title of this song was "Burning in the Bathtub".
Don't ask why, Sights and I were goofing off in a google doc while writing the lyrics and things got a bit silly XP

Speaking of silly, one of the chief inspirations behind this song (aside from the original theme Neighsayer came up with ;P) was an old fanfiction a really good friend of mine named Lewanut wrote years back. It's always stuck with me for one reason or another, and I made a point of saving the story to my hard drive before he left the internet and erased all his work =P (btw, if you ever read this Lew, I appreciate you giving us all warning before deleting everything , You have no idea how much of your work I saved OUO MUAHAHA *shot*).
