SMM2: Multiplayer Co-op Flashing Glitch

Okay, so this is 4 clips I made strung together of what seems to be some odd glitch. The person i was spectating quit while going in a pipe, then someone reached the goal. The combination of these things is probably what this odd glitch is, but I couldn't get out of it. Mashing A wouldn't work. So, I went to the home menu and back and when the communication error happened, the flashing sped up and I had no chance of maybe a frame perfect A press to get to the menu to see if anything else happened. Sad indeed.
