Brother sister marriage was encouraged in Hawaiian Royalty. A Tragic love Story about Nahienaena the Hawaiian princess who fell in love with Kamehameha III her brother. He was destined to be King but when the missionaries arrived they refused. They wanted to convert the island to Christianity and Nahienaena lost a lot of her freedoms and could not practice her ancestral traditions. This is her life.
