Making a Tiny Japanese Scarf Joint (Kanawa Tsugi)

For some time I wanted to try this famous Japanese scarf joinery, just to have it sit on my shelf, so I've made it as small as possible, 3/4" x 5/8" (20 x 16 mm), from a piece of maple. Mostly dimensioned to use the smallest chisel I have, a 1/8" (3 mm) one. I did the drawing in CAD, proportioned to maple's section, then measured various dimensions and marked on the maple.
