Yakutia, Russia: Life of Nomadic Reindeer Herders in the Far North | Survival Documentary

Yakutia is a region in the Far North of Russia, where the Pole of Cold is located. It is known for having the lowest temperatures in the world: in winter it can reach -70C. It is also home to indigenous people who have long practised reindeer herding: the Evens are one of them. They welcomed me in their nomad camp, where I spent a night in a tent and met the cutest puppies (which turned out to be more dangerous than bears and wolves!)
