Dr. Elizabeth Laposata, former Rhode Island chief medical examiner, is testifying at the Karen Read murder trial in Norfolk Superior Court. She's now a professor at Brown University.

John Tedeman, a private investigator, also testified.

Daniel Wolfe, a crash reconstruction expert for the defense, was back on the stand earlier.

The judge also denied a defense motion for a mistrial Monday.
