The .22 and it's lethality Pt 1.

My opinion on the 40 grn .22 LR high velocity hollow point and its ability to be lethal. I would like to mention it is FIRST: Shot placement! Excluding LARGE caliber weapons like the 338 Lapua etc.. The ability to hit a critical area is the key to removing and or stopping the threat. If you cannot hit a vital area or create enough shock or leak points in a "Tango" your going to be in for a long fight. Can the .22 bullet do that at 225 meters? Yes it can, if you hit a vital area, Head/Neck , Chest/Heart or an Artery. The humble .22 has been used in killing "bad guys" for many years with GREAT success.
