Interpreting media is a tightrope walk that we have to balance if we want to be both honest and effective. In this video, we examine the philosophy of interpreting art, look at how both intentional and unintentional cues in media can give rise to different interpretations, and how we determine what interpretations are valid, all through the lens of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
