This course will focus on the review of the BC Building Code (fire alarm portion) and ULC fire alarm standards. It aims to identify if a fire alarm system is required for a building project and, if so, what type of fire alarm system will be needed. Interfaces between a fire alarm system and other mechanical/electrical systems will be discussed. Coordination with fire alarm Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and fire alarm system inspection and verification will also be part of this course.
