Let me preface this by saying I'm not someone like this at ALL, this sort of thing is not something I believe in, HAVING SAID THAT! The OST from this show gives me some sort of memory. Yeah I watched it when I was younger, but it's not that. Almost as if I was a musician back in the middle ages, it feels like I can remember music from an older era, and that old era feels familiar. It's not as directly foreign and cool as, say, Assyrian/Roman/Greek music seems to me, nor is it as directly emotional as Classical/Romantic/Impressionist music can be for me. It seems just as I said, familiar, and I don't know why. I don't especially listen to middle ages music or something, it's just a weird sensation I get when listening to this OST, as well as a few pieces of other media. Almost like if I had a better memory I might be able to remember something from my life back in those middle age times. Which obviously isn't possible as I was born in the 1990s haha! I suppose if nothing else, it says a lot about how homey this show is, how familiar yet unfamiliar, how much the author and showrunners understand about base human nature. Don't know if any of that made sense, but I felt like writing it out so there you go :D
The anime is sadly over without the last light novels. The author is now writing the sequel with their child as protagonist.
underrated ost
31:30 love the atmosphere ty for the video i finally found it
How do I like this video twice
Very nice choices, starts off powerful with that dance and doesn't disappoint until the very end with that dramatic music that played in all the intense scenes. Though I wish you'd also added that woodwind canon (can't remember the name) that played in so many comical scenes
Прекрасно звучит, аниме заслуживает продолжения!
狼と羊皮紙アニメ化しないかな……
769. Nice
