My bf made me an account when they had the free Xiangli Yao but I wasn't able to actually play myself until it came out on ps5 and yes, I feel so behind on everything, it drives me nuts at times. Especially whenever there's an event requiring lvl 90 characters but there aren't trial units available.
Here's a tip. If you're upgrading echoes, there's the "Add all" you can read just above the boxes where you put in the exp materials. Change that to incremental, and it automatically uses just enough exp materials for 5 levels instead of clicking the materials one by one to add them.
When I started WuWa, I swore that I wouldn’t make the same mistakes I made in Genshin. But then Changli’s banner was up and the rest is history.
Just a heads up, the asterite pass and battle pass are the best bang for your buck. The pulls add up, you end up (even after a couple months) compiling some resources if you're not building multiple characters at once, and overall imo its the most fun way to play. I initally got them just to be able to pull on more characters' banners, which has gone well. With a little luck and discipline, I've got about 250 pulls on one account, despite having a multitude of teams and weapons to choose from. So, if you're willing to log in everyday for a short period of time and do your dailies...those pulls will pile up and compared to top-ups, you'll save a load of cash.
The best tip that you gave was: Take you time. People are fotgeting to enjoy, and are trying to reach the """"meta"""" on a solo game. But the feeling of "the grass of my neibor is greener than mine" is something constant on games. Mainly on gacha games...
Yes, Kuro deserves our support, more so than Hoyo.
Personally I think when you play the beta, you're just signing your own death warrant for quitting early by burning you out faster cause you end up going thru mostly the same thing you went through in the beta again.
Yes honestly i decided not to spend money on this game and go as high as possible while being ftp and let me tell you i am not a hoarder when it comes to pulls..... I have saved throughout the 2?0 and 2.1 patch and have saved around 170 pulls for shorekeeper and have her on guaranteed pity at 50.... Have a ftp weapon for her as well as decent echoes .... After that I'll see whom to get
I am a returning player who came back after quitting from the horrid launch of the game. Hearing so much praise about the relaunch and patch 2.2 made me hype and returned and i love the game much more now!! That said thanks for your advice, you definitely earned a sub!
The biggest mistake that i made was waste all my astrites on f*cking standard banners 😭
Good advice. The only one I would really emphasize for building echo sets is to follow a guide to save resources. Specifically look at WHY a character is built with a specific echo set. For example: building Rover with Rejuvenating Glow (healer set) is fine if you're using Aero Rover or Spectro Rover as your team's sustain, but useless if you're using Havoc Rover as your main DPS. If you're using Havoc Rover as your main DPS, you're going to want Sun-Sinking Eclipse (havoc damage set) or compromise with Lingering Tunes (attack buff set). So, make sure you know WHY a character wants an echo set based on HOW YOU USE THEM. I would add, if you're casual, or not playing high level end-game, don't bother farming tacit fields for echo sets. IMO Tacit fields are basically a waste of stamina when you get echoes from exploring and playing the game. Eventually you just have a full set in your inventory. Moreover, you get echo XP from bosses, events, world quests, and so on. Sure, it's not as much as someone who farms tacit fields, but there's a limit to how fast you can build any one character anyway, e.g. only 3 weekly bosses per week, and only so much stamina per day, so there's no rush. Eventually you do have the resources you need, and stamina is best spent on concrete gains like character level, weapon level, and talent levels, which are immutable boosts to your stats. Echo farming is RNG.
Bro 99% are not subscribed? That is really hard to do yo! Keep up the good work
I stopped forcing myself to log in daily on gacha games and I only get on for new story or whenever I feel like it and I've been enjoying the games a lot more. Of course I'm missing out on a lot of gacha currency not doing my dailys everyday but I kinda just pull on the characters I want and skip the ones that I don't and I either get them or I don't and I have to just keep saving until they get a rerun or a new character comes out that I may want instead. All I really wanted on Wuthering Waves was Shorekeeper or Roccia and I just got Roccia so now I just need Shorekeeper or Cartethyia basically.
Pro Tip - You have to plan properly who you want to pull. i made mistake, i pulled yinlin but don't have any electro dps. yeah yinlin is very good character and one of the best sub dps but still all are attractive and hard to skip 😅 i want to pull all 😂 later i decided to focus on team rather than single unit so after pulling carlotta i pull zhezhi ( one team complete with one healer ) i have pulled phoebe and plan to pull zani so second team with S Rover will be done and for third team i want to wait for electro dps & Shorekeeper or try to pull both brant & changli and with encore or cixia third team will be ready
I stopped playing on 1.2 and just recently started playing again. The amount of QOL improvements Kuro games had made in those few months has been nothing short of astonishing
8:00 one of the best advice which applies on every single player
I’m always out of echo xp.. I have plenty of characters built, but it’s gonna take a while to grind the tacet fields. S2 Cameylla for the win. Also, definitely play first, lunite subs are good
I have double crit on fire havoc and frosty resolve, got both verina and shorekeeper echos build aswell and still got 2k gold and 1.5k purple echo exp materials along with an insane amount of echos that can be turned into echo exp. I got way too many skill/weapon upgrade and boss materials I got all that just by logging in every day and spending my astrites and logging back out since a month after launch I saved up all my astrites since i started playing but crumbled when shorekeeper came out and got her s2 and weapon and then i got camellya s6 and weapon and all i had to do was spend a monthly subscription (and 50 bucks for the last for the last chain *cough cough*)
I 100% agree with what you said at the end, to take your time, it's very easy to forget that, to take your time and not grind non stop, basically it leads to burn out fast.
