As someone who's worked in the medical field before - PLEASE keep away from your windows when severe weather is active - Glass shards hurt. Even more so when it's in your eyes and/or face. Even more so when we cannot respond due to the severe weather, and you have to wait until it passes so we can actually make it to where you are.
