@maverick7291

That girl smiled at him when he said AF #15 cgc 8.0 was worth half a million.

@justinthorn2268

The last salesman went to lunch after that pitch

@Ev0lutionbillions

2 first Spidermans. Big price difference. Value is simply what people are willing to pay.

@OdinsDadd

Its all noise and a ridiculous game of hot potato. you don't want to be holding the 500 thousand dollar potato when the bottom falls out

@Perforu

just another proof wealth is not distributed as it should. This is beyond moronic. If someone has half a mil that he can spend on a comic book he'll never read, he should give it away to the poor. And I'm saying this from the perspective of an avid comic book / manga reader

@bryansteele832

Iโ€™m starting to think amazing fantasy 15 is not that rare. There seems to be a lot.

@peterswanson3446

I collect comic books, i have a few high price books... and the only thing that bothers me about spending a ton of money on a book is that these books are just paper, similar to money, and one day, also similar to money, it could be worth nothing.

@charlesharris6697

I have Star Wars number one, but itโ€™s actually a little different. It actually has a leak print where they messed up when they made the comic

@zyberknight

Who in their right mind buys a comic, keeps it in packaging and never reads it? Iโ€™m gonna wait 50 years or so and sell it for lots of money.

@dragonball3166

Point bring these books to convention never be sold is what pointless

@horderphelps1402

Mask #1 at CGC 1.0 FMV $3,400; Phantom Lady #17 CGC 5.0 FMV $30,000; Hulk #181 CGC 9.8 FMV $66,000 [so a fair deal offered by Worldwide]; Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC5.5 FMV $72,000; Incredible Hulk #1 CGC 8.0 FMV $115,000 [not a bad price, could probably get them down IMO]; Batman #1 CGC 1.8 FMV $135,000; Stars Wars #1 no info on signed copies; Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 8.0 FMV $450,000 [IMO, ignore the QES designation]

@Giltord

Bunch of dummies with way too much money. I'd never spend that kind of cash on a comic book.....

@unomars9694

And all of these comics heading towards a sharp decline in price range, costing half or less than what's shown ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Nordrig

1.8 for 160 is just dumb.

@mikewazowski9953

how stupid people must be to waste money on a stupid ass picture book that will never be read because its in some stupid glass case.....just lame

@Ploddingalong4now

Yeah this may be why cons are vanishing

@iarumasxx

Someone paid over 100k for a comic?????!!!!!!!

Seriously????!!

@Frankie7d

I thought the first dude was Jesse Ventura.

@perceptionmanagement2116

They have comic books there?!?!

@PainInTheS

Who cares about that? ๐Ÿคฃ

Buy a ton of them you will read....much more fun! ๐Ÿ‘

Graded comics suck!!! Overrated, overpriced. And slabbed comics aren't comics. You read comics....can't do that when they are slabbed.
