Some of these comments are absolutely ridiculous you do not need any e2s to clear with dot. I have seen many clear e0s0 and if you did want to invest for most players kafka lc and e1 swan is the farthest you should go. Silly doomposters

As a DOT main. I am waiting for Hoyo to release a DOT support character or sustain and the team would be complete. I heard from some leakers on Reddit that they are working on something for the near future. Expect to see it in 3.0.

I would imagine a harmony DoT that actually doubles the dot when a character inflicts dot to the enemy. For example Sampo hits 1 shear it becomes 2. Black swan inflicting 5 arcana it becomes 10

They're absolutely not necessary considering how many good hypercarries there are. If you have one, it's a good idea to pull for the other one. Also having them rounds out your teams, meaning that you're set for any and all content. They're not currently meta by any means, final MoC is a 5-6 cycle for my DoT team, but Acheron slaps hard enough that it doesnt matter. Probably could 4 cycle with some food buffs. The team I do all farming with is my DoT team. It is without a doubt, the most auto friendly comp. DoT provides extremely consistent damage every round, and isn't stuck behind ultimates or break like hypercarries tend to be.

Theyre definitely worth it, it just depends on how far you wanna invest on them. I have them both at E2S1 and let me tell you, they sweep everything. Obviously theyre very vertically invested, but thats what you're supposed to do with the units you like imo. At e0s0? Maybe skip them both lmfao.

I dunno if my opinion amount to much but played the game since released though probably casually just daily and draw... Kafka is A MUST for newbie.. The only one that trumps her worth in the current banner for newbies is Robin.. if you're new definitely go Kafka and/or Robin .. with kafka you can build the most basic DOT F2P team that can probably finish most simulated difficulty.. for Kafka to work you just need her, Gunaifen and Sampo..

I think Moze's existence, even as a 4*, showcases that no character will stay unique forever. Kafka will either get a side grade or a 4* similar character. I mean I remember people telling me I was crazy because "Silver Wolf is future proof" due to her implant ability. (My argument was simply that others from her planet might have single element implant, etc, depending on how far they wanna powercreep.) Yet here we are where break focused characters have their own way to implant specifically because by nature they gotta be able to break to do their dmg. No one is eternal and that's both good and bad. I hope dot enjoyers will get someone to share across both sides of moc and such; as a FUA enjoyer I have felt spoiled but also run down x')

we're still missing a DoT sustain, ideally one that applies burn or bleed. Jiaoqiu was supposed to be that sustain but he ended up not being it. Both Break and Follow-Up have their sustains and DoT is still stuck with Huohuo
