@Cheesepuff8

Funny that the place famous for its fossil fuels are doing this

@loiskimberleyplayer

Sounds so cool!!

@123Goldhunter11

Couple that with sand batteries. Plenty of sand there.

@CUBETechie

Why not place the pv panels on the roof of the factorys? Then maybe the parking Lots?

@officialmcdeath

So we add greenwashing to the existing sportswashing and esportswashing \m/

@kasperlindgren6607

If only SA could be a reliable partner, but they are not!

@katzda

Great news

@Lord_8_1

That dessert once back in the time was nice green forest until Roman empire went there and made it to be dessert 😂...

@davidelrizzo

Saudi Arabia doing anything they can to avoid collapse once fossil fuels are phased out

@Shaikhofilm

This is good for our grandkids . I would suggest doing something else for now , and leave this for the future when the demand grows .

@kitchinsync

SA is one of the countries on the front line challenging human survival - days of >120F, depletion of aquifers and salty seawater encroachment, and continuing greenhouse emissions making it worse everyday from the oil they sold to other countries. The things that cause political upheaval and mass migration.

@andycapo9you

You forgot about heat/sand issues... not that 'carbon neutral' if you have to be constantly using water to clean those pannels and 30% or more of that energy goes to A/C

@Tlavoid

Why don't we do this in the desert

@ramonching7772

"closer to cheap energy" is nonsense.
Electricity is the most easily transported form of energy.
Please study more before posting.

@larrysorenson4789

A hundred billion in US FUNDING? Didn’t these guys just reduce the oil we may buy?

If this is true then every person in government and construction who participated in this deal should be jailed

@guidomista5738

Hold up by Saudi Arabia??? Green energy project replacement to oil founded by biggest oil exporter?

@anubizz3

Saudi Arabia and manufacturing in the same sentence?

@mauriciogerhardt3209

soo.. not unlimited.

@jacobcasmus1882

Lmao "A genius way to harness the desert"....
Solar panels....
So how are they going to keep the solar panels clean?
Or is there no wind there? Lol.
Maybe they could make a team of robots to clean off the solar panels using the energy from the solar panels??? Hahahaha

@ans_life

Hi! @silkywaymedia I have seen a video about the solar energy.
