A bunch of comments talk about how this trailer gives nothing, and I think its like, we keep complaining how trailers basically tell the whole story or atleast the most important parts and it's pointless, but this trailer, it's like they've told you everything EXCEPT the most story-defining incident, they've left crumbs around to keep us guessing but left a gaping whole in the middle, intriguing and inviting us in to watch the whole thing to find out what really happens. It's like the perfect amount of suspense, and that's not even my favourite part but i love it!

Firstly, I've been waiting patiently for Lulu Wang's next project after watching her incredible film The Banquet and watching this preview truly moved me to tears. To see Nicole Kidman in this setting with a diverse cast and then to hear and see Filipino characters speak in Tagalog and helmed by the aforementioned Lulu Wang -- you can see why I'm absolutely moved by this.

Nicole truly sticks to her promise on working with female director every 18 months, Lulu Wang is her No.17 wonder woman. there're 4 female directors get in line also, 3 films and 1 mini-series.

i went to HK 10 years ago... an incredible city. Loved to stay there. Lot of memories in my mind about that amazing trip. I miss HK.
