@MedsTravel

Totally agree — the low cost of living is a huge pro, but the heat and infrastructure definitely take adjusting to. I lived in Siem Reap for a year, and what surprised me most was how fast ‘simple living’ starts to feel normal.

@warrenwilliams7456

I just found your channel and subscribed. I moved to SR two months ago and I just turned 70 but healthy. I love it here! A lot of your cons are not really Cambodia specific but apply to many countries. If you are not comfortable with being out of your comfort zone, adaptable and adventurous, almost any place overseas will not suit you and you need to visit before moving. I got here on a friday, had a great apt on sat, 10 days later had a 1 year visa, and 2 days after that an ABA bank account which really changed my life for the better because even street vendors use a scanning code. Cambodia pros bury the cons.

@hotdigr1111

I rarely subscribe to Cambodian vlogs, because most of the try to present themselves as experts, but in reality know SFA. I've just subscribed to yours because I liked the way you presented this clip. Seems like you are going to give it a fair shot here and I reckon you have the right attitude to make it work if you decide that Cambodia is the place for you. And believe me, I've seen hundreds who didn't have the right attitude go down in flames very, very quickly. Good work, keep it up mate!

@parislim853

Love watching your videos, you keep it short and simple 👍

@williambreeze2659

Thanks for the video, I can't wait to head out to Cambodia next year.

@MekongCajun

I've lived in Kampong Cham 4 years. I'm in Cambodia for life!

I belong on the Mekong!

Cambodia ain't for sissies, but if you can overlook any bad points, there are far more great things about living here!

People are generally positive or negative, right?

A positive person will usually be positive, no matter where they live in the world, and in any situation.

A negative person will usually be negative, no matter where they live in the world, and in any situation.

If you're a positive person, come on over! You will love Cambodia and you will especially love the Cambodians!

@unclenemesis

I appreciate that you got straight to the point in the video and shared useful information. I hit subscribe, gave a thumbs up, and clicked the bell icon.

Greetings from Norway.

Hey brutha, stumbled onto your videos over a month ago, and love them! We're moving to Siem Reap from Las Vegas tomorrow, YES tomorrow!!! Would love to pick your brain over gyms and what not.

@LeeThayer-nn5ye

Very nicely explained. I first visited Cambodia in about 2007 or 2008, loved the place.

@AlFakherFan

Lived in Siem Reap for 4 months, can agree 100% with what you say. Honest video.

@bobpugh7970

You are great. I am retiring in SR. at end of this year. Been researching Cambodia for past 2 years & you & Matt (from Scotland) have best knowledge/ best videos for especially Siem Reap! and a couple of others do also but this pro/con is 100% accurate! One question-what is in that green bottle you seem to be sniffing any start of each video?Think I need some!

@vitalitymirth

Thanks for the pros and cons. Also, your bonus video at the end with the tuk-tuk in motion would make great ASMR.

@mccannger

Thanks for the info. Really appreciated it!

@LIamaLlama554

Thank you sir! I’m moving to PP early next year and your video was very helpful.

@bmorezoo

Very informative. Appreciate you making this vid

@dhaferkoheji3572

Neat and straightforward review of life in Cambodia. Wish others do the same rather than go in circles discussing themselves and getting us to lose interest of the subject matter in the process. Thanks

@PinayGio

We miss Cambodia. Love Phnom Penh and province parts they are like in Philippines. Greetings from Germany.

@bobbychhang1084

Keep it Riel !

@joyariffic4217

I traveled a bit in Cambodia in 2021 and I thought it was so underrated. Its such a lovely place and you get a very different type of forigeners there than you get in Thailand
