If you want to do this at home, I highly recommend System76's Launch keyboard kits. Once you screw on the case, it's basically putting together lego, so it's not too intimidating.

that's such a good price for a custom keyboard and the experience is a bonus, you're like guided through the process, it's way cheaper than trying to figure it out on your own and order pieces that might be wrong and unreturnable, I looked into custom keyboards a few years ago and got overwhelmed and gave up, this makes it simple

I LOVE the blank gradient to black. Just not the shape of it. My dream keyboard is a blank, soft click, silicon covered typewriter shape but with low pile keys and an extra panel of like 15 keys for personal programming and accented characters. It also needs to have a key that changes the layout of the keyboard by a single press that pulls up an on screen options menu so you can choose your layout. I've thought about this a lot. 😊 Now someone just needs* to invent Build-a-Bra!! You go in like Build a Bear, pick out all the elements of your favorite bra and put them in a bag, then at the end when you go to pay you have the option to come back and pick up your bra in store, or have it shipped to your home after a seamstress sews* it all together. There would be a measuring station, and different cup thicknesses, different support options and clasps, and a few different textures of fabrics...all of that would be consistent, but the patterns and colors would change every so often. Imagine how accessible and fun we could make the whole process!! Especially for those buying their first bra. ❤

I love this so much! I got my keyboard after becoming obsessed with typewriter style keyboard asmr videos. When i was looking at keyboards, one popped up that is a gamer keyboard, but the typewriter style keys are styled after lipstick colors. I love it so much.
