@thundercat7809

The weirdest thing about AK is you don't even need to play the game to enjoy it, I legit found many people in the community that didn't play the game/already quit but enjoy AK lore, character & music. Gameplay wise AK is not beginner friendly game but the learning curve is hella amazing. First thing first, resources management is very important, you don't need max level 6* straight away, that's a trap, build 3* & 4* instead, it will carry you through early chapters. The key of playing AK is be patient & don't get greedy.

@Eckogen

AK is the most based gacha I have played and still play thus far.

@giahuytran720

For me the Arknight FOMO is not about getting all the characters , it’s about collecting every single medal set of every event HG release 🗿

@akirachisaka9997

Also, Arknights, like many of the modern Gacha games, are basically this generation of MMOs.
Well, they aren’t MMO nor RPG, but they are the live service games that aims to tell a long story, and most have a 5-10 year service plan at launch.
So, it’s actually surprisingly cozy to return and play Arknights for like a month or two, every now and then. There are lots of new stuff every time you return.
New main story, new event stories, a new rogue IS, etc.

@avocartlovers6032

The point is (at least for me) arknight is relaxing game at the same time, challenging. I stick to it since day 1 and still playing it, even thought I become a mom recently and cant play it while raising my baby, but 2 or 3 month ago I playing it again, and FALL IN LOVE again.

@karkar3647

one thing thats very underrated about arknights is how much inventive the devs are, all event has their own mechanics and unique enemy, and new concept gamemode keeps appearing, which i cant really say the same with alot of other gacha

@zicaowastaken

The lore and the worldbuilding... damn its just so damn good, I absolutely love this game

@Shirker12

Close to 5 years for me. Still play it daily. While I've lost a bit of interest in the game, just due to things going on in my life, I still enjoy it.

As for Endfield, as one of the lucky few that got into the Beta, I'm super excited for it. The story was definitely hit or miss so far, but I really enjoyed the characters.

@akirachisaka9997

Also, on CN the event system updated.
So that now after an event ends, it immediately gets added to archives and you can read the story. The stages are still locked tho.
But yeah, pretty good news, in case a new event is coming, and you can’t understand what’s happening because you missed the previous story.

@linxivii_g.k2356

Been playing arknights for 5 years and idk if its just me, but i rlly appreciate how casual and non pushy the game is for a casual player! As someone who only pulls based on character and not meta, im still able to clear all the lvs(including hardmodes) and play the endgames comfortably. I dont grind regularly lol and dont feel the obligation to grind constantly cos rewards from events and endgames have been keeping me going! (plus the base)

Will definitely give endfield a try even tho ive nvr played a factory game in my life lol. I rlly wna see how hypergryph bring their stories and aesthetics to 3d! (i love the worldbuilding in arknights) Been liking what ive seen from endfield beta playthrus so far!

@leoleo21004

I could never really get into arknights, gameplay wise, but I had always really wanted to experience the story which I heard was really good. It wasn’t until just recently that I found out the community had put together a massive story reader to experience the entire game’s story online, and I’ve been using that to experience the story in my own way. The lore is really in depth and interesting and I enjoy that the characters actually feel real and thought out rather than just a default anime archetype slapped on to a pretty face for marketing reasons. I don’t know if it’s considered wrong to experience the game like this, but I’m having a good time and using this as a means to familiarize myself with the world before endfield releases.

@kiggernillers

along this 5 years. i met ppl who played since day one, old veterans, nicheknights, feet enjoyers, gooners and many more. truly arknights moments

@Adloquiem

I too got back only recently, a month or so ago, and I can’t believe I stopped playing. It’s so much fun, the grind for materials is relaxing, and the rogue like mode is addicting. More gacha games need something like it otherwise we never get to have fun with off meta picks and under appreciated characters

@sw4gsmile595

You could not live with your own success
Where did that bring you? Back to me

-John arknights or something

@HydraneousHadokenPent-Striker

Started 3 months after launch and played it daily since. I absolutely love the story, and fl2ur even if you never choose to play arknights again (you should login once to make sure your account is bound properly after the recent update), I'd recommend watching through the story on youtube, the recent chapter stuff that you haven't read yet gets pretty nuts and they've improved the visuals of how the story gets presented a bit. My favorite thing to do with each new story chapter or event is have my squad consist of only units who are part of the event and then use units name dropped or from the region the event takes place in to fill any holes remaining.

@horizon2733

As someone who stopped playing Arkinghts a few months ago, you pretty much put into words how I feel about the game nowadays. For all of the other gachas that I quit it was either because of extreme bad luck or the game becoming worst over time, but for Arknights it really was just because I was happy with my experience and felt like I had experienced everything the game had to offer. Nowadays when I think about my time with the game it's always with fondness, and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys strategy games

@NeoSpira

I love arknights so much. Has no battlepass, no artifacts/relics that have you at the mercy, just build your character and go. You can also borrow your friends' ops so for me it lessens that pain when i skip a banner or just couldn't get them (cries nymph!!)
I love the medal system honestly, it gave me goals to strengthen my account and when i finally got to trim one was when i felt so proud of myself.

That feeling you got from your accomplishments, that is the best feeling (one that I'm afraid to get to that point lol because i love it so much) ever to have and i hope you hold on to it forever. For a gacha to give you that is priceless.

And i played the endfield beta and it felt like a AAA game masquerading as a gacha lmao, there were a few days i was locked in to base building (which im a total noob at hehe) and did not spend any of my sanity and.. i was content. I was not stressed about it. I was not held back at all. It's so great.
Um tho i was disappointed that their roguelike was more like HSR instead of their own. i don't want to a part of progression to be tied to it. I wanna do it at my own pace so i hope they'll change it.

@DDRdavo

I only started the game in late 2023, and kind of agree. It really is the best gacha. I'm at the point where I've completed everything available like Reclamation algorithm and all integrated strategies(which is hundreds of hours alone). Have all medals (from when I started anyways), I went for near max risk last CC and am in a similar position but haven't quit yet. I do just login now to do dailies and wait for each new event. I'm able to get every character I want because the game is extremely generous with pulls too. It really is the best gacha.

@amooosasaki2299

You truly did finish Arknights

 congrats

That's not something everyone can do, to feel truly content with a live service game you need to take a step back yourself and look at what you've achieved without any external push like how other games give you an end screen.

being able to do something like this is a sign of maturity imo, and I very much respect it.

I hope I can feel the same someday but I don't think I'll be done with Arknights anytime soon, I just hope I don't get burnt out before that point

@almightnyupagod2516

I became emotional at the last part where you explain why you quit arknights, literally a tear fall down in my eyes. Never have witness someone love the game I really love like this before. And because of that you earned a new subsciber.
