The idea that quantum computers like Willow might be tapping into parallel universes for that insane speed (10^25 years vs 5 mins!) is absolutely mind-blowing! It makes you wonder if the multiverse is real and how much we truly don't understand about reality. Thanks for explaining this incredible concept!
I thought multiverses were still technically theoretical, yet we’re somehow tapping into it to power a computer?
We are made of quantum material through consciousness and therefore can already travel to parallel universes at will, but, only 1 at a time as 3rd dimensional beings.
I asked google whether Willow had confirmed the multiverse theory. Google AI replied: 'No, Google's Willow quantum computer does not definitively confirm the multiple universes theory (also known as the Many-Worlds Interpretation). While its speed and performance are impressive, and some speculate they might be related to computations across parallel universes, this remains a theoretical concept with no empirical evidence to support it.'
I love quantum physics!
The Double Slit experiment is just the Multiverse filling in the blanks.
The simple scenario of a group of say 5 people are sitting around a table and they can all perform different, spontaneous, unprompted, actions simultaneously and the outcome of each individual action happens immediately. This scenario can be repeated with different decisions infinite times and yet regardless of each action the reaction immediately occurs. Therefore, proving that multiple universes exist and are only waiting for actions to react to. There will never be an action that doesn’t immediately have a reaction whether at a visible or quantum level.
When you doubt, you are standing next to another version of yourself. That is, you don't know which one you are until you make a decision.
If you think you understand Quantum mechanics, you don't understand Quantum mechanics. - Richard Feynman

We have what are called micro tubeulles in our brain that our consciousness can process/understand and interact with quantum computing. An anesthesiologist and a Nobel prize winner recently discovered this. Hal putoff just announced and talked about it on JRE podcast around the 2hr 18min mark. He discovered that quantum particles can go through objects to communicate and send messages that electro magnetism can not basically anywhere we can't communicate today with a cellphone/raido, etc. such as salt water down to a submarines or thick steel or even into space.
"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof." -Carl Sagan. Claiming the fact we can build a quantum computer proves there must be a multiverse is quite a claim and it may be true but it may be a leap of faith and probably an unnecessary one at that. This looks like a video Sabine should reply to. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and your explanation of the double slit experiment was one of the better ones that I've seen.
Your channel is never ever disappointing.
So they picked one interpretation of QM and went with it
What is the most common common denominator? What is the original singular?
"Quantum Computing" Invented Quantum Computing".
So basically "superposition" is another way of saying existing in many universes at once. Until its measured. Then it collapse into ours.
I recall the wonderful thrill of listening to the audiobooks of David Deutsch while bicycling…brilliant thinker and thought leader. His simple short philosophy of “problems will always exist in the human condition…and problems are solvable”.
It could also occur in non-local dimensions, such as the curled up dimensions of string theory.
