Honestly, it's sad how everyone keeps telling Atsushi to be optimistic and talk as if it's something he could control. The trauma and PTSD, everything he felt is something that can't be reversed. Atsushi throughout the story tries his best to be better, the anime literally starts after he has been kicked out and he has only been released from his abusive orphanage. He is allowed to be like that and Atsushi doesn't know what he will have in the future. Also even in the future, that's why Atsushi trying his best to protect what he has cause he loves ADA and what he has right now. Overall it's a great video, thank you for the early Christmas present! 🎉

I love how Dazai questioned why the orphanage would mistreat Atsushi at 12:03 but didn’t bat an eye and wonder why he would do the same to Aku; it shows how he doesn’t take things in with regard to emotions and feelings, but with logic. Bcuz with Aku, the reason why he would mistreat him is obvious enough to Dazai: he’s ‘training’ him so he could survive in the mafia. But there’s no logical reason an orphanage would mistreat an orphan unless there was something fishy about the situation, and he immediately questioned that.

I love this so much, it hurts my soul how everyone(minus Dazai and Yosano) keeps telling Atsushi he’s a crybaby and has low self esteem as if he wouldn’t get that from all the abuse he’s gone through. I still love the video, just hurts my soul.

Nah, how they keep telling atsu to be optimistic as if he can control, and how they keep throwing the blame on Dazai because it just looks like it. I just would love to see their react to Dazai's side, and if they would keep the same view on him or not, keep the work, dear. This is literally a masterpiece.

I love it so much! i really like how you shown Dazai's personality and how good he is at acting and akus personality. The way one time in video Dazai says "Kids these days" reminds me of myself and that he is also a kid. The one where oda says "The one who gives up on life must be a fool" he gave up on one time some of the others in the room too.

I honestly feel so bad for Atsushi, they expect him to just stop being childish and just stop whining about the past. Do they think it’s easy to just overcame that brutal past? I know the other suffered too but it’s not right to just make someone just to control his emotions.. But anyways, loved the video!! New sub ✨

I kinda wanted to punch almost everyone in this room when it was Atsushi's turn, but I kind of understand that they all had rough past's and therefore don't exactly know how to deal with trauma. But even so, Atsushi deserves to cry all he wants. He can whine all he wants. He can feel sorry all he wants. Trauma isn't easy, worse if it's a case like his where he was horribly abused physically and mentally. He isn't a crybaby, he has a big trauma and CAN cry because of it, it isn't being weak or just annoying whining, it's the result of years of a kid being beat up just because. Omfg I want to hug him, he doesn't deserve to be treated like this. 😔

AHHHH I love this so much, the part where they just gang up on Dazai, it was really ironic knowing that 1 was his ex-partner, 1 was his bestfriend, and 3 are his co-workers. Also I sort of feel bad for Atsushi but at the same time, I love their reactions to even his personality. I'M ABSOLUTELY HYPEEDDDD FOR SOUKOKU'S TURN, especially Dazai's part cause like, I don't know, somehow he's one of the characters that have a lot of angst or edits

I cannot express in words how amazing this is- I love that you represented their ages and understandings whilst also sticking to the actual characters mindset for the specific part. Can't wait to see Chuuya, Dazai and Odasaku's reaction part!

god i love this video so much!!! the way they treat atsushi reactions, while hurtful, is entirely realistic fhjdjdjwke. and the way they all gang up on dazai is so funny to me. i think it was such a good decision to go into this with sskk first. having seen dazai at probably his worst personality wise (chuuya hasnt shown him a reason to try living yet, so the quote he gives mori at the beginning of 15 is pretty active here) and seeing the consequences of his actions with akutagawa will make it very interesting when his segment comes around. and i really liked the bit where he was acting too, too often we disregard his oscar worthy performance in 15 💔 fhehnens... honestly just your entire dealing with of akutagawa was great. his reactions make me so sad, especially ones in regard to him dying. and the way they try to grapple with the kyouka situation was great. it was also really interesting to see dazais reaction to atsushi and kyouka, considering it was the ripple effect of his actions with atsushi. thats something I'm looking forward to seeing too! just... i know i keep talking about dazai but hes my favorite and this video honestly sets up so many interesting factors for whenever things get to him, or for me to just think about in general. his relationship with ranpo is another thing im so fascinated by. they dont like each other very much in here, but in present day dazai is incredibly impressed by ranpos intelligence and calls him "[the] one who transcended even ability users". its so interesting to remember how they are in canon compared to here. so all in all, amazing and compelling video!!! and the shout out was so cool omg im gonna ride off this high all day

i love this series so much <3 ranpo and chuuya's reactions have me angry though ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ i cant stand it when people aren't understanding. like atsushi is allowed to be shocked, he's allowed to be upset and he's allowed to freak out about finding out that he has an ability like? do they really expect him to accept this new information straight away and not have any sort of emotional reaction to it?? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

It’s so fucking sad how Atsushi is treated by some of them, and how Dazai is ostracized. He’s fucking sick to the head and he is so not good for what he has done and will do. But he is still a kid, who has been manipulated just like Akutagawa. He should be blamed, but even more so Mori. And Akutagawa too should get a little blame for doing the same to Kyouka. I would love to see how they react to mori and the abuse cycle and the buraiha trio. Atsushi having such a sad backstory yet still being called a crybaby is so disgusting to me. You wouldn’t be able to understand what happened to him, he has different coping methods too!
