IB Raging Brachydios definitely one of the best fights in the whole series. I mean what a glo up. They didn't have to go that hard, but they did, and damn, I love it to death.

Really loved how much they reworked Raging Brachydios from an awful to amazing fight in Iceborne and it gives me hope they can do that for other said monsters Some neat things about the final phase is he'll take more damage from his own explosions depending on how many parts are broken, and before it was patched there was an exploit where you could command your palico to place traps and you could capture him in the final area, but it would cause the quest to fail

I still remember 4U g-rank Brachy. I'd fought him so many times in TriG, 3U, and earlier in 4 that I was use to him not being able to run at me. So the first time he did it I let out a small scream in terror

I started with World so that was my only exposure with Raging. Holy shit the presentation of that fight is amazing. My jaw hit the floor the first time I fought it.

My favorite thing about him is that in Frontier, he's a G Rank Exotic Species huntable at GR100, is that he can furiously punch the ground to pump massive amounts of slime to generate a huge AOE explosion. It's easy to avoid, but funny to look at. Also I think they got his roar wrong, might need to check again.

I heard something in the grapevine a while ago about monster themes and their fights: "It's all fun and games until you hear Latin in the background." Brachy, and by extension Raging Brachy, is my all-time favorite monster and the fact that they brought in his canon lore (therein being that his slimeblight when in his Raging state actively harms him) for his variant fight is the cherry on top of the whole thing.

Brachy isnt adding slime when he licks his fists. He's priming the slime with his saliva.

awesome video as always! I am starting to wonder how many monsters are left with enough appearances to warrant a video like this, few examples I can come up with are Volvidon, Khezu, and Barroth. Edit: Oh, Shogun Cenataur and maybe Plesioth too now that I think about it
