The episode with Erwin's suicide charge was my favorite simply because of how hype it was. Season 2 episode 6 was hype because of revelations, but Erwin's speech was a different monster. As for my fav season, I'm stuck between S3 and S4. It could be S3 because of the mystery and emotional payoff you get for learning everything, but it could be S4 because of its themes, dealing with how humans are divided and forced into situations against each other based on circumstance, which were hinted at by the opposition throughout the previous seasons and was well articulated by the speech Eren gave to Falco while on the bench at the Liberio rehabilitation center. I'll give the edge to S4, though, simply because it divided the AOT fandom and materialized its themes into reality (the debates of whether or not to like Gabi, whether or not it's okay for Sasha's father and other characters to forgive Gabi, seeing people side with factions and argue that their respective faction is in the right when Isayama makes it clear that every faction is in the wrong and has made mistakes, etc).

Season 1 Episode 16 was easily the best episode from 9-16 in my opinion. Jean’s development, Erwin’s speech, the bonfire scene, the shot with the survey corp capes being put on, the epic start of the first expedition outside the walls in the series. How you going to put that below boring as hell episodes like 10 and 11? I’m going to assume you just don’t remember it much and to be fair it was ages ago so I can’t blame you for that. Other than that I agree with nearly everything else.

from you 2000 years ago honestly tops hero for me, it's the greatest storytelling I've ever seen and honestly my most wanted answers with ymir and how the titans came to be, and the eren and zeke dialogue is some of the best of the show and of course the rumbling scene and eren talking to the titans are my favorite scenes of the whole show.
