@manarisu

Thank you!

@GlassesnMouthplates

Some guy eats nothing but fast food: *Ends up on TLC in a demeaning reality show.
Some guy in Japan eats nothing but fast food: *Lost a few kilos, finds appreciation for veggies, becomes the unofficial ambassador of Sukiya, and he can still walk.

@SoupEmperor

Japanalysis: "It wasn't looking good for poor Manarisu, it was almost over :("
Manarisu: "I though it was finally over, I was so happy to almost be free"

@DarkFalconAnimations

Update: As of March 2024, Manarisu’s balance is now over 2 million yen. This means at least another 11 years of Sukiya.

@Vampress09

Sukiya should name a bowl after him and put in his favorite ingredients.

@harambae117

Only a MMO player could grind this hard

@dm44444

The weirdest thing about this story is that he brought thousands of new members to Mercari, yet they never acknowledged him lol

@lagercrew

sukiya looks 100X healthier than any fast food in the usa or europe...

@creamCarnivalJones1234

When he eats fast food everyday he's a man of sheer determination, but when I do it I "need to leave the chick-fil-a, we are closed" and "we will call the police"

@akinavman1

As a half Japanese half Canadian who lived in both countries for a decade, yeah Sukiya is way healthier than 99% of western fast food restaurants

@evanlee93

So basically this guy gets to eat for free for like the next decade. Not a bad gig.

@runyred

I’m sorry for my broken English 🙇🏻‍♀️
Last night, right after I finished watching this video, my husband suddenly called me on his way to home and asked if we can eat Sukiya for dinner (I haven’t told him anything about this video). I laughed so hard and he was very confused. After he arrived at home with the Sukiya takeouts on his hand, I showed this video and watched it together while eating the takeouts he bought and he laughed! He then told me that when he called me, he actually wanted to eat ramen at Rai Rai Tei, but the word “Sukiya” suddenly came across in his mind and he chose Sukiya instead. What kind of coincidence is this 🫣

@ezra9401

Also, I think this guy just bamboozled the whole internet to pay for his meals in guise of a challenge. Actually smart lmao.

@tekno4649

On my last trip to Japan, I ate at both Yoshinoya and Matsuya, but not Sukiya. On my upcoming trip, I will be sure to eat at Sukiya to honor Manarisu

@Mido_

I love that no matter how long someone has been interested in Japanese culture, no matter how many book has read or videos watched, there are still topics on your channel you won't hear about anywhere else (unless maybe when you can speak Japanese and lurk the Japanese internet). Love your channel for that reason.

@misao6397

Bro he's 30??? I put him at 20 at most. My man is getting preserved by all the fast food preservatives he's consuming

@dekkeroid2962

the guy : "i was happy the challenge seemed like it was ending"
the narrator : "unfortunately it was looking like the challenge was ending"
:0

@z.b.95

Dude, this video is gold. The build up, the scenes with mr himself talking about it, the tension if he is gonna get more donations and then you got 10:05 moment. I was hooked the whole video. Thank you for making this. You have talent!

@akifaiman7388

Man accidentally became ambassador of sukiya

@cottoncandykawaii2673

He lost 3kg eating Japanese fast food everyday, if he ate American fast food every day he'd be 300 pounds 😔
