We COULD'VE taken Turing and stopped the Bug assault, but we were too focused on the illuminate and now the bug's are REALLY close to super earth, as of now we have 4,457 troops on Slif and 11,558 on Mastia

the number of helldivers we had during those days eclipsed the number we have now. sadly, we may have beaten sony, but we lost a lot of good men doing it. i emphasize the term "pyrrhic victory" with depreciating results over time.

Malevelon Creek vet here It's been said that the Helldivers got the best of the war. We also got the worst. On Malevelon Creek, the Droids dug their metal heels into the muck of that alien hellhole and dared Super Earth to come in after them. So we did, only to be met with the month after month of flesh-eating diseases, shrieking nocturnal predators, and other sights that haunt me to this day. Cut off and for all we knew abandoned by our superiors, our only hope was Eagle One, our air support. Without her iron will, none of us would have come out of that mess with our sanity, or our lives.

All could've been stopped if the initial defense of Veld was held. However, due to mass misconception of how the DSS's Orbital Blockade worked, they chose to send it to Turing, thinking it'd instantly ends Veld's invasion. If we go back even furthur, Turing wouldn't have been lost if we focused on it instead of Fenrir
