I'm currently in Skopje after spending a month in Ohrid. The people are very friendly and it is a beautiful country. Drivers are so considerate of one another and to pedestrians.

Thank you Ryan and Emily for introducing Macedonia to me. Before watching your video today, the only thing I know about Macedonia is just the name of that country. Now I know it’s a very peaceful, not so congested, lots of natural wonders view and costs of living is not that high. Thank you once again. Thank You! The only country in the world that has the name Macedonia in its own state name deserves to be always called only Macedonia, since there is no other state in the world called Macedonia.

Regarding the name: 'North Macedonia ' is used officially. 'Macedonia' is used locally. When in doubt about its location etc etc just remember the flag 🇲🇰. In a nutshell, Greece 🇬🇷 has a province named 'Macedonia' as well. Long, long story - we'll be here all day! Anyway, differentiate the two locations by their flags.
