When I listen to you, often for the first time I think to myself "oh, so I am not the only one", like over worrying about being late or the planning, or the emails, or anything really 😁 but it applies to every single one of your videos, so thank you 😊 Btw. scored 37🤔
Howdy Paul. Cool video got be laughing. Even though this is a serious topic I crack up at some of your responses! I scored 28. I do worry about everything a lot. Very similar to your thoughts actually. I have had stomach problems my entire life. Its funny when you mentioned the chemicals in your system. I do not like taking anything. I have been considering taking something for ADHD but read the side effects, one being sudden death by the way, and decided no thanks. I guess my brain will keep buzzing along! Thanks for posting always look forward to it. Keep on smiling!
That story about your stomach sounds very relatable. I recently learned that the stomach problems I've had my entire life was anxiety related. I always thought it was related to soda, but then I'd stop drinking soda and continue getting them, but they definitely seemed worse when drinking soda. Turns out, I tend to drink a lot of soda (and consume sugar in general) when I'm anxious because it drains/exhausts me, so I drink soda as a refuel and so what looked like the cause was actually a response to the cause. I've been learning that if I just take a moment before I go into places (like the grocery store) to just sit there and listen to music or something like that it helps get rid of the stomach issues almost entirely. Other places I have to limit my exposure to like seeing my family as I always get stomach aches there, it's just a matter of time, so I just start feeling it and that's when I decide to leave and if I leave when I first notice it, I end up fine, but if I wait then I end up spending an hour on the toilet lol.
Hey Paul! I had anxiety just thinking about this test. Scored 27! I find it more and more difficult to deal with my anxiety as i get older and more difficult to relax as well. Here in the U.S. when you go to a doctor's office sometimes they want you to take a mental health survey. That gives me even more anxiety than i'm already feeling because i had to go to into the doctor's office to begin with! It has questions like how many times a week do you find yourself unhappy? Everytime i wind up telling the doctor "well... i wasn't depressed until i had to take that survey!" Hahaha Thanks Paul! Still smiling!
The discussion with your brain when you wake up during night 😂 I so know what you are talking about "brain shut up! I want to sleep!" Anyway interesting topic, thought provoking
Great video and good to see you! I'm sorry to hear that you go through such extreme anxiety. 😔 I 100% understand it though. I have dealt with anxiety since I was a toddler. It was really bad as a child and all through my teenage years. I've always been high-strung. I easily get stressed out over the smallest things. As a adult I've learned a little better on how to manage it. Of course I still struggle. Some days can be really bad to the point I am physically ill, can't eat, and a emotional wreck. I've had 5 nervous breakdowns in my life. I suffered from really bad panic attacks for years. I take medicine for it, but honestly it really doesn't help as much as I hoped it would. It took me many years to even start trying medication because of my fears of it. The first several types of anxiety meds that I tried, I had a allergic reaction to them. I was desperate for help so I kept trying them until I found the right one. Now I have medicine that I'm not allergic to, but it's definitely not a cure-all. My score is 40/40. Looking forward to your next video Paul!
As a person in Massachusetts, USA The place I've been using to help me understand terms and they have tests is called "Embrace Autism". ( No personal info needed and free pfd download of results) A lot of the articles and atuff is written by people with ASD. So I can understand it better for sure. I might just bring the tests with me to the Dr. and be like look. If its not Autism whats wring with me lol. Was I dropped on my head or something? Relax isn't in my vocabulary. Well, I mean I say it I use the word I mean that relaxing is not something with me. People with Autism tend to have IBS. I happen to have Crohn's. Which if you look into this stuff it emotionally based from. And with all the trauma makes sense. I'm having a flare up its it's so painful I can't ignore it which also puts me out. And it causes back pain. 10:37 😂😂😂 the look was great. Like obviously you dont sleep well lol. "Think of everything in the wirkd ever!" Yup Always the longest time! And add 15 minutes. For me. Like to have. 35 Not a surprise to my since I was diagnosed with it when I was a teen.
Re the unsteadiness, could it be dyspraxia? People with ASD can often have that. Great video
Dear Paul, I watched all your test videos. Youve got a list of "qualities" now. I do believe all of that would get better if you can get better sleep. One idea for you for your pee then no sleep lament. Who says you have to walk to the bathroom to pee? What of making an experiment of a big safe container to pee in, right next to your bed. Like a coffee container, pee, put on the lid in that exact order lol. It's not weird, historically people have always had a pot to pee in. My 2 cents or quid or whatever.
I scored a 31 on the anxiety test.
Umm, im not a doctor but pain in one side, going through to the back and constant urination sounds like kidneys to me. I would suspect kidney infection, but im sure you were tested for this. Hope its all sorted now
Some people are diagnosed with both autism and anxiety. However, many of the experts have reported that they have never met an autistic who did not have anxiety, not that they are one and the same but they (almost always) manifest together. I enjoyed your humor during the questions. Thank you. (Side note: Insomnia and autism are also extremely common but they are some who have hypersomnia.)
What sims do you play?
