I use traditional and digital art. The only benefit in using Digital is that I don't have to be afraid to make a huge mistake. You can always use the undo button. And I don't have to buy all the materials so it's pretty cheap. Aside from that it's pretty much the same. Traditional is just more fun for me because I like the smell, sound and texture the paper when I work.

@Eriko-cy7iy

I can watch these all day 😊

@zomerbloesem9371

This video needs more views, haha. I sometimes get the feeling traditional artists feel like digital art isn't art. Like there's indeed benefits, but that doesn't mean it doesn't take take effort, skills, time and so on.

@dunjarobin7544

Just a big kudos to you and ALL artist, and here especially the digital artists! I know it has always been rough... and now with AI it has become so much harder for you. I only ever drew digitally as an amateur, but I poured hours and hours into it and it fed my soul. Please... don't give up, and know that your work has VALUE! <3 Art, after all, is part of what defines us as humans, right? :)

@ducky_noodlez_

I feel so sorry for digital artists for getting these comments and don't agree with them.
But this is also one of the reasons I make physical art, I haven't gotten into digital art and have only used it for cleaning up designs, but I don't want people to mistake my art for AI or claim that it isn't real, its sad that people don't believe it is 'real' art 😭

@ChantelleArts

this was so well explained ☺

@GA_Sola

I can absolutely relate to this. I'm a Congolese animator and I use very old school traditional animation techniques to create my stuff... the worst and most frustrating accusation I could possibly get is that I used any AI in the process because not only do I not, but also I actually enjoy the entire process of doing it on my own, and it's pretty hard work at times. It's gotten to the point where I actually leave little signs of "mistakes" or something that would prove that a human made this just so to acoid it looking artificial. However, haters (especially racist ones) are so insecure about the fact that they cannot create art and so just want to slander people's work, so they can be ignored, but it's quite difficult to adéquately explain to people that there is no AI in my work.

@erin1569

Your art feels like home

@eepy-pastel-pink-k9

traditional art is created
digital art is created
ai "art" is generated
art is created, it takes time, effort, practice and skill, it also captures emotions, ai has none of that and that's why it can't be compared to actual art, traditional or digital

@milikoshki

oh wow, I had no idea people viewed digital art like that! I watched Jasmine Chan here on youtube long before I got my own tablet, and so it was clear to me that digital art = perfecting every pixel for days and days, definitely not a "shortcut" :D

@wavyduckling862

Your art journey and passion is so inspiring to me ❤ thanks for introducing me to traditional painting, especially gouache! It's now my favorite medium

@TheOliveBlue

As someone who dabbles in sketching, I can confirm that digital art is not like AI or traditional media. It's HARD
(not saying traditional media isn't hard, it's just *different*)

@000aples

You are so underrated

@protox07

I like your videos Lucie Ell

@jazzandcocoa

Gorgeous art work. I think someone who doesn’t know art will not get it anyway. Sending them to your YouTube page would be much easier for them to maybe comprehend 😅
