I’ve seen this before and know the issue. I’m gonna make the guess you have the higher amp batteries and whatnot too and what has happened is last time you used it with a higher amp battery for a while it eventually burned the insulation cable on the inside. Your drill was probably fine and could’ve been fixed with new wires from the battery to main board but since you tried using it again in the damaged state I wouldn’t be surprised if you damaged it further and shorted some other components
