1st video that put 3 match points saved. Great job
I'm a Sinner fan but Carlos is incredible, a true force of nature and at the same time humble and respectful. VAMOS CARLOS!!!
That is not skill, luck, focus or anything else. That's above everything. That's pure greatness.
I've never seen a player play as well as Carlos did at the end of this match. With such high stakes he just took the game over with tennis we've not seen before. The last three minutes of this video sum it up perfectly. The shot he makes down 5-6 30-30 after Sinner's amazing return might be the best shot I've ever seen given the difficulty and the circumstances. Kept him from facing another match point. Closes out the game in style then destroys Sinner in the tie break. Wins 13 of the last 16 points and on 8 of those he hits just unbelievable shots to snatch the title from Jannik's grasp. Truly frightening stuff
I'm a big Rafa fan, particularly for his ability to change defense into offense but I don't think I have ever seen anyone hit some many ridiculous shots in 1 match. Carlos is out of this world, increíble.
Impossible not to love him... insane beautiful person and charismatic player... certain gifts are God given: his game style! Fair-play with finesse& without fear! Mental&emotional integrity, excellence of IQ game tactics, loving & friendly- no negativity on court- Nadal's legacy! He plays with the heart- its beyond the understanding! Iconic Alcaraz! Heart brings genius and humility! Legend!
I sincerely believe that never before has a Roland Garros final had 2 players playing at such a high level.
"Victory belongs to the tenacious". Very, very, true...
The shot to win the 12th game of the 5th set was one of the greatest tennis winners I have ever seen.
One of the most impressive performance by an athlete in any sport in history. Simply inhumane. AMAZING
This kid. Because of him, tennis right now feels like Federer’s rise in 2004-2006. You got the sense at that time that Roger could almost tap into the universe with certain shots he could come up with. Astonishing stuff we had never seen before. Fast forward 20 years later, many players have these shots in the top 50. With Carlos, things feel like yet another player has come who taps into the universe. Of course he has jaw dropping shotmaking; things we haven’t seen. But on another level it seems as though he finds these moments in matches where he taps into something higher and unveils his own destiny in ways we can’t imagine before it happens. This almost magical clutchness that seems to come from a higher place. It’s a once-per-generation moment.
You can not teach that , thats pure talent
Best highlights. When it mattered most, Alcaraz made sure to consistently 1) take the ball earlier, 2) pin Sinner behind the baseline with depth & weight of shot, and 3) frequently change direction to keep Sinner off balance, so he can't just set up & bash the ball from the baseline. None of that is possible without excellent timing, footwork, strength, & sound technique off both wings. Bravamos, Carlos. He's the best.
3:45 ... Amazing that Carlos was able to fight through this.
Roland Garros... Made in Spain.
I love how this new generation doesn't need absolute silence to play on, they just deal with the noise. Even in the most stressful situations once they started their service motions it was game on. There's no histrionics or asking the chair to quell the crowd. And the fact that they conceded points to each other, world class sportsmanship. Love these two for bringing this type of sports ethos to tennis.
Cabeza + corazon + cojones = CARLOS ❤️
that 5'th set tie break was some prime Federer shit. well done Carlito
Alcaraz went god mode in the super tie
