What I love about the Sentry was the hoax they played on everyone when he was introduced. If you were reading comics at the time, you probably know about Wizard magazine. Wizard started printing credible articles about the Sentry being a hero from long ago, and at the time I fell for it. The Internet wasn't what it is today so I didn't have a good way to check. I really did think I could find old Sentry comics if I hit enough comic book shops.

Is anyone old enough to remember when the sentry was supposedly a april fools joke in wizards magazine? Basically a very blair witch esque marketing scheme to convince people he was really a silver age character they were bringing back

I love how most people who see the Sentry for the first time would most probably think that he's basically the Marvel version of Superman. That's what I thought the first time I saw the Sentry. But he's actually a LOT different from Superman.

I love the Sentry. It's the adage of how do you make a superhero who is all powerful without making his stories boring because he can do everything. Who knew the answer was make him mentally unstable 😂
