Odyssey had by far the most builds in any AC game ever. I had so much fun with poison or fire builds.

To be real, my favorite AC game from Old Ubisoft is AC4 Black Flag. The open world pirate exploration, story, and map was mint for me. AC Brotherhood is a close second. I have not purchased an AC game since 2015 and glad I stopped when I did.

I would argue Origins was the peak ... I tolerated Odyssey and disliked Valhalla. I am really struggling with Shadows, I wanted it to be good, to succeed ... I just can't see myself finishing it. Shadows has a gorgeous world but it is for the most part empty, content that at present is copy & paste, bordering on a boring, tedious grind.

You didn't mention the Cult, and the game play associated with them. Figuring out who they are and taking them out one-by-one is always very satisfying. Easily the best of the rebooted AC games that started with Origin's, and it's not even close - as far as I'm concerned anyway

Malaka!!! How did I miss this game. Currently 100hrs in and still have lot's to do. Wow this game is absolutely amazing. The open world is beautiful. The side quests are well written and how good is Kassandra's voice actor. You can feel the love they put into this game. Assassin's Creed Odyssey just become my Number 1 AC. Chaire Ubisoft you touched greatness.

I really enjoy playing Odyssey. Many argue that it's no like the original assassin's creed and I agree. But I still love this game. I spent more than 500 hours in it and more to play the 2nd playthrough. At the prologue, I let the mother and daughter who are sick go and my village turn into a plague zone. That's one of my biggest regrets in video gaming. 😢

In Odyssey, you level up by quests and side quests. In Valhalla, you have to find a lot of chests for level up to be able to do the main quest. That is a big difference. Shadows, look to keep all the worst tihing of valhalla and Odyssey about the level up. Odyssey is more acomplish that Origin, but both was very nice game.

Great video mate. Love your humility. Played Odyssey in the 3 weeks before Shadows. i enjoyed it. Loved the skill tree, and side quests and the world. Story felt like it fell off at the end, but very cool. Didnt like the constant grind of upgrading the gear every level. Loved the minotaur side quest and the puzzles. As i mentioned before my favourite world is Valhalla; the english countryside and castles, the world events, etc etc. I could just chill out in that world and forget about the main quest. I cant say that about Shadows, although its quite lovely. Keep up the great work. Hows Atomfall going? Ive got my fingers crossed you like it.

Great video. Great points. Odessey is one of their best.. biggest world. Quests fairly good. Best naval combat. A war system with taking over territory mechanics. Horse combat. Assassination gameplay. You can also tame and have animal followers like lions, bears , wolves, also human companions in battle.. I might replay it.

just finished shadows yesterday, second best of the new age AC “RPG” games. Odyssey is by far my favorite of them.

It's so unfortunate that such a good looking game is covered up with so much UI. I just can't get over that their is a navigation line on the ground so you don't have to think at all. I hope KCD style games are getting more popular. I would kill for KCD Japan, Rom, Egypt, Greek etc
