Shelly's Skillcheck stat probably represents her Dexterity (due to her being able to clean fossils and chip away the stone), which I believe is the reason why she finished all 4 puzzles that fast. And her ability, it seemed to restore Shedletsky's slash (And possibly his Chicken if he still had one), so in theory, she can restore Survivor Abilities with her own, which could be very useful in the future.
