Gotta say, mad respect for Fractal. Multiple times, he's seen records he was going for achieved live by other people, and he's not just a good sport about it, but actively excited that someone was able to do it. That combination of skill and community solidarity is a rare combination (at least in general, I'm not that tuned into the NES Tetris community), and that type of attitude is what keeps communities going in the long run.

I don’t play Tetris and I couldn’t even understand half of the things explained about the game but this was sooo entertaining to watch. Learning about Alex T’s journey made me tear up when he finally beat the world record. Felt like a proud mom😅 Such a legend!
