Chill out with penguins and seals in Antarctica - the coolest wildlife documentary ever!
In 2015 when my daughter had graduated from college, she wanted to take a trip with me somewhere. "Let's go here, let's go there" and I'm like "I don't know." Then she said, "let's go to Antarctica," before she got the last syllable out, I'm like "OK, yes." Needless to say, that it was the best trip one could ever take. We did, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Antarctica. 28 days, 8 different flights including from NY, and the cruise across the Drake passage. I only hope that I get another chance at going again. Our last stop in Antarctica was Deception Island. When we landed there was snow on the ground, which was mostly black volcanic sand. The only colors were black, white and a yellow sun. Very surreal...
My son and his wife met while working in Antarctica. He did his PhD research there and she worked 3 years there including over wintering at all 3 US stations. Such a wonderful experience...
I have a goal in life to visit all 7 continents. And Antarctica is no exception. Very beautiful landscape one of the most beautiful and remote places on earth. I would love to travel there if it doesn’t melt by the time I get there. This planet is beautiful and some people don’t even realize. We are not separate from nature we are a part of it...
An awe-inspiring and harsh journey – Antarctica’s nature is both majestic and breathlessly unforgiving.
As an American, I wish we learned more about the people that populated our vast country, in particular those who live in the far north in Alaska. At least in my experience, so little was taught about our fellow Americans and North Americans who live in the frozen tundras and wilderness of Alaska and Canada. History was so focused on the European side of things that I know practically nothing about what life is or was like for the many tribes and natives of the US, Canada and even Mexico...
Whoever is behind this channel is so sweet lol your replies are very thoughtful. New sub ☺️
Hey kiddo, sit down a sec. Back when I was 22, ridin’ my bike by Lake Michigan in Chicago, I’d hear old-timers at the diner talkin’ about Antarctica’s ice cryin’ out. “We’re burnin’ it down,” they’d say, showin’ me a beat-up photo of a penguin bravin’ a storm. Hit me hard. Me and my pals, we started pickin’ up trash, plantin’ trees—little stuff, y’know, hopin’ it’d matter. Now I’m 70, bones achin’, seein’ fish lost in warm waters, whales fightin’ to breathe. Makes me grin, thinkin’ how that diner chatter stuck. Listen up: LOVE this wild earth, love each other. Dig in, cheer them seals, hold tight when it storms. That’s the FIRE we need. No gizmo’s stoppin’ that—I’ve lived long enough to bet on it....
I’m half Antarctican this place is awesome to visit come out we will welcome you with open arms
This video offers an amazing glimpse into Antarctica's prehistoric world, highlighting and educational, blending adventure and science perfectly. It’s clear that the mysteries of ancient Antarctica are far from being fully uncovered, which leaves viewers eager to learn more
Orcas are so freaking cool! Making great white sharks leave just from there presences I such a flex!
One of the best presented videos I’ve watched on Antarctica. Thank you for the video...
Incredible video once again dude. Really cool to see your take on this journey. It's a nice mix of great footage & music with documentary style handheld content. Looking forward to the final video reflecting on the trip as a whole. Cheers!
The Antartica also a great documentary,,,,and amazing place...❤❤❤√√
the narration is excellent, adding depth to the story
Cool vid on Antarctica’s wild side! The black seadevil anglerfish in icy waters is wild, but some facts might be debated. Still, it’s a wake-up call for our planet. Love the penguin and orca bits! Could mention krill struggles or melting ice shelves. Minor word issues, but keep it up! ...
One of the best docunmentry
I dreamed of becoming a photographer. As a senior woman I still marvel but now I bemoan the absolute destruction we have done to the natural world and billions of people don't even realize it. I realize that humans are on their own path to destruction. But I know deep down that the natural world will continue in some way. Other living things will survive. And that knowledge itself gives me hope...
