IPL is undoubtedly the biggest and will always remin the biggest cricket league (yes, there are speculations around Saudi Cricket league, but even that will will be heavily backed by Indians). But one thing that we cannot discount is that PSL is made a brand out of nothing. Quality of cricket is better in IPL (a lot of PSL supporters do claim that bowling of PSL is better, but I followed this season and saw small grounds and even 240+ runs are getting chased).

If cricket need to grow and survive, there should be some changes in the league structure. 1) Cricket leagues should be for year round rather than few months. This will keep the players fit and fans occupied. 2) There should be multiple tier of club cricket, atleast in India and Pakistan to develop young talents. 3) There should be cup tournaments between the title winners of every cricketing countries. Without these changes football will kill cricket along with all other sports.
