sometime scams are just genuine projects mismanaged into oblivion
This is actually the first time that I feel like a case is truly impressive. The tech, the layout. The look. Actually sick
"I can't promise you'll get results like this in a room that's warmer than room temperature" I don't think that can happen by definition.
This might actually heat a cold pizza
Non-tech: Cut a circle out of a piece of paper then cut the circle into a long, thin spiral. Attach thread to the center and suspend it above the heat source. You now have a neat convection detector that kids will enjoy.
bare copper like that is beautiful but with consumers not using gloves when building it, it will turn green fast
You all should definitely post the ambient room temperature when doing these tests. It makes a big difference. Like is it 75° f or 68° f?
18:30 Yeah, when you mentioned the cost in the beginning, it sounded like it was going to be 15 grand. Two is still overdone but a realistic expectation for a product like this. Nice that you dug it up for us to see.
When you release the all metal driver, you have to brand it "LTT-1000"
I thought the price would be higher. 1k for the aluminum one seems totally fine for how unique that case is. No normal PC builder would ever buy this but I can see the enthusiasts appreciating it
my wallet wouldn't feel 2 grand about that purchase
It's really hard to describe, but something went really well with either filming or montage or both. Flow and whole video progression feels more smooth than usual
Linus, confused about the power supply: "Who makes this???" The giant cooler master logo on the front: "Am I a joke to you?"
Soon I'll be able to get my first gaming PC, I want to get low cost windows, any recs?
13:21 boiling being quieter actually makes sence - the loudest part of a boiling process is actually the moment just before the liquid starts boiling, when you have large bubbles forming, but collapsing before they reach the surface. (Try listening next time you boil water in a kettle / pot /...).
Alex, you'll appreciate this: this cooling system may not have an actual "pump", but it's reminiscent of the Ford Model T, which used what they called a "thermo-syphon"...or in other words, hot water from the engine rises to the top of the radiator purely because it's hot (this is why the top of the radiator is so much higher than the top of the engine block), pulling colder water in from the bottom of the rad in a self-circulating system without a mechanical pump.
$1k is honestly a pretty killer price for this, especially when you consider how much a custom watercooling loop would cost
Just a note for you , copper sucks at showing up properly on IR sensors or cameras as it actually reflects IR giving you false/inaccurate readings.
Now THIS is a rig I'd like to see undergo the smoke test to visualize the airflow better!
