this is a sad song, makes me feel about my daughter in heaven now.
Thank you.Mr.John Mayer for this & all your other songs ,they awaken & help mend my hearts fractires ,encountered along lifes road truly the best therapy from the most magical therapist in this girls life🎸💫Suzannah
Waking up is the hardest part because you know he/she are no longer there like he/she used to and things are no longer the same.. I just miss him so much and wish nothing more than being with him right now
His voice was so on form that night!! amazing stuff.
no, this is a song that makes me cry
You can definitely hear the changes in Mayer's voice. From Pre-Room for Squares, to room for squares, to the raspy as/is-Heavier things. To The trio/continuum. to this performance/WTLI, battle studies, and his darker tone as of recent.
Man, John Mayer sounds just like his recordings live! With a wonderful epic beautiful twist cause the live feel. What a great musician.. It's so worth seeing him live..
Probably my favourite JM song ever. Great lyrics! Of all his eras this band and this performance tops the list for me. So good!!
I cry every time I hear this song. I am a man with a broken heart. Jackie, I love you!
this is the best song i have ever heard. i love JOHN MAYER :)
Love this song, and this live version...especially at 1:43
Thank you for all your kind words,
He is a wonderful musician :D One of my favorite performances of his.
in this concert ... he's really show the world that he is a god
this song is so beautiful, it's sad.. reminds me of someone who is always on my mind and in my heart. John could not have used better words to describe what I'm feeling about him </3
''Cause shes gone, gone, gone'' that one hits like a fuckin hammer
Truly a well written song. Strong performance as usual from John. The Xanax helps...heh. He truly is the next Clapton and Eric agrees. Eric says John has no idea just how connected to the instrument and what power he wields (paraphrased).....I don't understand how there are ever any thumbs down on a John Mayer performance as he pours his entire soul into what he does. The man may have been an ego addict, but he has truly grown and has years to refine himself and his art. I cannot wait to see what he is like in another twenty years. He will be extraordinary!
John Mayer's songs show the true pain of a broken heart. What emotion!!!
I thought about this version of the song so much over the past month. his music is life changing
