@janzizka4964

but the problem with balistic shield is that it cant regenerate once its destroyed

@Mandalore_the_Liberator

The reason I use the ballistic shield is not only because it’s drippy, but also it protects my back while I reload my MG. I just turn around and have my back to them and I’m safe . It also let me tank a mortar while prone on the automaton front

@JerichoYeet

Directional shield: Low knockback.
Shield pack: Medium knockback.
Ballistic shield: AHHHH

@Zerk-HUMBOLDT-WALKER

"No Helldivers were injured in the making of this video"

@mochafirefoxy

I saw someone tank a harvester beam with the directional shield at the last second.

Bro earned my respect.

“Your injury is not service related”

@Really_Mad_Potato

Ballistic shield has become one of my favorite items. It stops bullers, explosions, but most importantly, it stops melee which the directional cant. The ballistic shield may not be able to regenerate, but unless you get hit point blank by an explosion, the shield has enough health to last until the next drop. It has gone from what could be called the worst backpack items to one of my favorites. That shield has saved me so many times on all fronts, and if you haven't tried it, I suggest using it alongside the explosive crossbow and stun lance (or any melee really).

TLDR: I love the ballistic shield and saw some slander of it down here and I wanted to sing its praise.

@felixgravesfloofboyo

This is a nice way to show how they can tank it but I feel the issue of seeing overall health damage should be acknowledged

@kilbymorgan8626

Next Arrowhead should add a reflector shield. Let us Parry shots back at them. 🤣

@DrunkDjinn

Update: ballistic shield can now block melee attacks. Time to go full spartan on the bugs with our spear and shield!!!

@flu_nog_777

That's my favorite armor set

@captainworstpirateiveheard9842

I still run heavy armor with -50% explosion damage and can survive, though I've played long enough to look for (and hear) for the turrets. The slower speed at least keeps me on the rear to see my teammates rush in and get blasted first 😅

@gigabyteguru2452

And as they all come to a stop after ragdolling:

“Ow”

@con_zur

Ballistic should have the least inertia and resist melee. Also those damn chicken walkers deleting the shield in one hit needs to stop.

@mayspark9109

The bubble shield and derectional shield will regenerate in 10 seconds, and the Balistic Shield will regenerate in 5 minutes when you call a new one

@Waroftheworldsz

Ballistic shield has saved me so many times.

Because it will still block the turret even if you're not aiming at it depending on how you face it.

@mini_ivo7631

Tanked a hellbomb with balistic shield. Didnt tank the rock it threw me at.

@QueenRaven516

The ballistic is my favorite due to the fact I can now take melee hits from ANY enemy directly, including a Hulk smash attack (results may vary), plus using it alongside a stun lance and you begin to feel like a true warrior LMAO

@Director-32

That feeling of surviving one of those blasts as a direct hit must feel godly

@ИмператорВеликолепнии

The directional shield is the worst of them all, it doesn't protect you in Close combat, which is unclear because the shield generator saves you from blows and claws.
It does not save you from grenade explosions and rocket hits, which is unclear because the ballistic shield takes in two rocket hits and grenade explosions and you survive them. It does not cover your legs, which is what the other two shields do, its only advantage is that it is wide, the whole team can hide behind it, its second advantage is the possibility of recovery, but we completely remove it from the advantages, because this shield will cost you 1000 super credits and a ton of medals.
The shield generator is the best of them all, it has three more advantages than the ballistic one, because besides everything in common, it also protects your back, it does not prevent you from holding a weapon in both hands and it recovers, its biggest disadvantage is that your stratagems can accidentally cling to it.
Including a 500kg bomb
