@Rikmach

The idea behind the hamster cannibalism is that when they're stressed out, they think there's a predator nearby- and if it eats your babies, you lose all the nutrients you used to make them- so better to eat them yourself, reclaim the nutrients, and try again later

@Cjgj2009

Mosquitos WILL NOT get my sympathy

@InternetAnarchist

justice for hamsters 💔

@mr.moraIe

The worst part is none of them have access to trust me bro videos 😔

@Epicfrogger420

why did the mosquito bit kinda make my day. kinda teared up being reminded theres a lot to be grateful for; all cuz im a healthy, functioning human with friends and family who love me :)

@SeriousHistory

Another fact with Hamsters, some species that are kept as pets go into a state similar to hibernation called Torpor in the winter months when its cold or they don't have enough to eat. When in this state, they look dead, so many hamster owners assume their hamster died and burry them alive.

@faaaailure

In the same vein of the hamster, there's the goldfish. There are so little people who actually realize that they are really intelligent animals who can live up to 15-20 years, and are in fact capable of feeling pain. Every time you see a fish in a bowl, it IS abuse, for a multitude of reasons I will not list because then this comment will be way too long. Anyways, this was a really awesome video, so thanks :3

@KittyMeow1993

My sister got her kiddo a hamster about two years ago. Little bro has a two story cage house with all kinds of enrichment activities and his home gets cleaned out at least once a week. He is a fuzzy little king and they love him.

@piagebot2943

Any pet store pets live such sad lives. Ask any pet store employee (myself included) and they will tell you all the horrible things that happens in the store and that customers say about their homes. I had someone return their hamster ball because their hamster was in the ball when their dog started playing with it. RETURN THE BALL. And I HAD to take it back per my manager’s orders.

Also: hamsters don’t just eat their own babies, they can actually fight to the death and eat another hamster when they’re held in captivity together. This happened a few times when I worked at the Petco. Never buy a pet from Petco.

@dazanii

We managed to have a hamster that died of old age, just over 3 years old. She got little cataracts too but was so used to being handled she wasn’t skittish even then. She won a hamster race my brother and I took her to. RIP Zelda.

@vanessathames7924

My dad threw my hamster over the balcony, the entire cage that the hamster was in. He said it was to teach me a lesson for staying out after school and not telling him where I was. Granted I was running around a big city by myself but that was wrong.

@justarandomchanell

I'm not sure if rabbits would make it on this list, but they're pretty fragile.

@upside848

Bro is now well drawn 🙏

@alexb389

Also you don't gotta be vegan to recognize testing facilities and factory farms are awful

@hopegallows1392

There was a girl who lived on the corner of my street who I hung out with bc proximity. I was 9 and she was 7 when this happened. Her hamster had had babies, she eat one in the night. While I was over we heard squeaking and found the babies eating her.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the sight of that tiny rib cage.

@TPP09

I love the animation bro. U gained +1000000 respect💀

@rustlord232

damn even animals get "big sad" that shows that even animals can hate them selves

@samievans4937

Mantises also have a tendency to get a lot of parasites inside them. Since they eat so many other insects, there’s quite a few videos of these alien looking worms being drowned out of a still alive mantis. It’s trippy

@allthingsaddi

I am vegan, and over the past few years, I have done so much work to try to educate myself on the reality of factory farming and testing facilities. Thank you so, so much for including them here. I am not one to push any agenda on anyone either, but self education on these topics is SO important and literally the bare minimum we can do to help these animals. You are so awesome for contributing to your viewers’ education.

@LilSnooze

Bros lowkey dropping wisdom tho
