Paul Thomas Anderson has mastered the one-point perspective shots. I love the way he incorporates them so that it differs from Kubrick or Wes Anderson one-point shots. His one-point shots focus on character psychology and emotional depth.

i got to see them filming their portions in sacramento (saw them film the shot at 1:45-1:46 of them running) it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. stayed there for hours for days. it’s where i met my gf and on the last day we both got PTA’s autograph.
