I still love the idea that some japasese execs sat in a room and a guy just walks in and goes like "yo, what if we made a typical slice of life show, but the joke is how much fucking animation budget we put into making ordinary stuff look like the best action scene ever that will be unrivaled by most anime for generations" and the execs just gave that guy a shitload of money and probably the best animatior staff in the studio
