Leafy greens ! Spinach / bitters Nuts & seeds Avocados Fibre ! Protein Fat & fibre Coconut flakes / MCT oil Chia seeds Chia seed pudding Raw unsweetened Cacao Berries Eggs Collagen peptides Beans Konjac noodles ! Cucumbers ! Broccoli Berberine
I wasn't feeling any effect from drinking collagen peptides, after 6 weeks in my coffee. When I looked up the research 3 studies said not to have it in anything above body temperature, it kills it off. I switched to mixing in only cold liquids and I feel much better and am back to slowly losing weight.

You said "eat the side salad first" ... I'm so glad you mentioned the simple natural dressing. That's so important
Best breakfast is 2 pasture raised eggs scrambled with diced avocado & red bell pepper. Sometimes chopped spinach.😊

I love you man. you do talk fast, but I have been trying to be healthy for so many years. I understand all the things that you are saying so it’s just coming back to me since now I’m 68 and very much overweight. I’m going to listen to all your videos and write down everything and try really hard. Thank you so much for caring about us.
Yes! Foods I have been intentionally choosing for the past 2 years. Chia pudding is easy to make and delicious too. I use a manual grinder to grind my chia seeds and then refrigerate them along with the flax seeds I also grind and refrigerate. A little Ceylon cinnamon helps with the bitterness of cacao. I mix both cacao powder and Ceylon cinnamon with my coffee grounds in stainless steel pods each morning. You are right about nuts. I carefully check ingredients to ensure that they are raw or dry roasted and not sweetened. Same with dried cranberries. I love broccoli. Just picked a cucumber from my garden. It will go into tonight's salad with garden picked greens, an avocado, with EVOO and pure red wine vinegar for a dressing. Grass fed beef is great too. I also mix grass fed unsweetened bovine collagen into various dishes. I love wild caught salmon. Berries too. Pasture raised eggs too! I like live cultures unsweetened yogurt. Greek is my favorite. Beans and lentils and chickpeas too! I take berberine. Need to plant a moringa tree again. What I had growing in a pot, didn't come back this spring. But I have seeds.

Thank you for this video Dr. Livingood 🙏
I cut a whole cucumber in thin slices with skin. I sprinkle with a small amount of salt. I make mayo, water, splenda dressing and eat as a salad.
Be careful of too much chia seed if you're having dental work or surgery. I was eating a Chia and nut cereal that was grain- free several years ago prior to me needing a root canal. I didn't even think about it having so much omega-3 that it thinned my blood and I got a huge bruise on my jaw! Same with surgery. I used to work at a hospital as a nurse and you have to be very careful about blood thinning Foods prior to surgery.. you should be off Omega-3s are blood thinning medication like aspirin for at least 2 weeks.
Hello Dr Livingood from New Hampshire. Yes, I eat most of these foods. Ok, you have just given me something to talk to my GI dietitian about. I have the opposite problem. ZERO appetite since my surgery 18 months ago. I believe that is the grehlin hormone affected. May be my vagus nerve. We are working on that. I am going in for bloodwork to test my zinc level. She said that could be the issue. I will ask her if there are foods allowed on my hospital diet that could be working against me to dampen my appetite, until we can find the answer. The plot thickens. This was a very helpful video in more ways than you intended. ~ Diane
Thank you sooo much for this! I've had thyroid cancer in the past and can't take those injections. This is awesome! 🎉
Thank you for your valuable information and passionate delivery.
I freeze bites of avocados in ice cube trays. Always add them to my smoothie. Just makes the smoothie creamier. I use Dr. Livingood 's chocolate multi collagen.
Many thanks Doc for the wonderful tips. Happy Mother’s Day to your lovely charming wife and to all the mothers.❤
