Well done, Piia both on the Cantonese & cooking! (I still have yet to master being able to push the food forward with the thumb when cutting veggies as a mom of 5. But do keep the claw method in mind for safety. Another good tip is to maybe slice the garlic so it can sit flat while slicing it further as you would do with potatoes when making fries.) You two are very cute! Patience, understanding, and a good sense of humour goes a long way.

The way you cut your vege, it's a matter of time before you slice a piece off the top your left finger. Listen to Edward. Curl you left fingers inward while pressing down the vege, and let the side of the knive slide along your knuckles. Edward will demonstrate.
