@MedievalWisdom

Which of these ancient tools surprised you the most?
Have you ever tried recreating one yourself - or would you want to?

@andybrown4284

The irony of an AI telling people that old tech isn't obsolete
Why would they stop working just because a few centuries have passed?

@Mojave90

Imagine, Imagine how many people don't even know this. The survival of humans has gone on for eons. In today's world we count on the convenience of it all. Imagine if all that went away. In today's crazy world, I believe these are the essentials we need to teach and learn. Many years ago this used to be an essential piece of life. Fast forward to today we have people and children who don't even know this. I don't know about you, but I want to survive!
 Good luck citizens....      🦀

@mst.tarzan

13:55 was scary 😎

@abcstardust

Valuable information for sure!! Thank you for sharing!

@The_Albanian_Inquisition

Survival is about ingenuity.... but also gear. Lots of good gear

@jessicabrown7274

Another Medieval skills video, Thank you very much!

@profesorr4938

Nice collection of ideas

@wandapease-gi8yo

Slings are a weapon used up until the 19th century. Medievalists might remember the very late “Slings and Arrows of z outrageous fortune”!

@contessa.adella

6:58 “Cordage”…Oh yes, in an unexpected survival situation, use your six feet of para cord that you never travel without…right <eye roll>. Making cordage isn’t easy.

@charlesrobbins5683

The sling was actually used in warfare and was much more dangerous than just stunning and knocking things out

AI thumbnail video using stock or common footage and uploading several times a week makes me suspect you're reading off an AI generated script. A lot of these facts are heavily generalized and lack any sort of specific detailed information.

@Dragonmoon98

Always here for debunking the myth of everyone in europe only drinking beer and never water for over 500 years

@misolgit69

the modern equivalent of the clay pot filter/purifier can be one or a set of interlinked large capacity PET bottles arranged to hang

@edi9892

Not everyone had a firekit.
It was basically enough for one person per village, as they would basically always keep one fire, especially in winter and everyone in the village could take an ember if he needed to start a fire. Embers were stored such that they would last and can be transported.
If you are a sheppard, woodsman, or pilgrim, soldier, or hunter, then you needed a firekit.

@abcstardust

I guess the technique that surprises me most is preserving Vegetables in wood ash.

@fatomato2012

the idea is good … but the AI pictures make no sense… the video would work without them!

@frankiskeens4081

Coming to this late 🤷‍♂️ . Israelis still used slings just like that in WW2 to throw hand grenades .

@profesorr4938

20:58 some of the water filter "designs" are pretty silly
