@ArkasScarlet

Kuro really took good notes from existing RPGs and went a step further when developing their regions, at least in terms of aesthetic differences. I think Kuro’s real strength is in their use of colors, they’re good at using both very muted and very vibrant tones in a way that makes the visuals pop while still maintaining a consistent overall aesthetic for the game. Combine the color design with good animations and a few nice effects and you end up with what WuWa delivers. Definitely looking forward to whatever they cook up in future areas.

I really like Rinascita but the Black shores literally took my breath away. I wish we had more story content there

@vjbd2757

Avinoleum is probably the most gorgeous area of a gacha game I've seen so far.

@codei-b1263

PGR: The apocalypse is still on going and keep getting worse, humanity still unable to overcome the disaster (punishing virus, red tides, etc.)

WW: The apocalypse is still on going but not as worse as before, humanity is now able to adapt and lowering the casuality caused by the disaster (Taced discords, Lament)

@Ralph032789

Mt. Firmament is beautiful too.

@ShianCyan

Well they need different styles for different regions to make the Open World aspect to feel alive. That also makes the game worth exploring the map without overusing teleport points as navigation purposes, add it with photography mode the game have to make scenes more special to take pictures on

@kingdomking224

I’d say it’s more Art direction than style

@Kaaztengels

Appreciate the difference between regions locked by water for evolution reasons, i like that every region also has different ecology like the tacet discords are also part of the "modern" nature.

My favorite place would either be the black shores, or the big oak tree maze. They are very beautiful for different reasons, black shores being modern intimate and homey, and the oak (forgot the name) grand and historical such as something from elden ring

@rvncrw

Constantly improving a game for player experience beats staying stagnant and delivering low-quality content to paying players. Growth matters, especially when people are spending real money they earned from their daily jobs. Huge respect to Kuro for valuing both our time and our wallets.

@springblossoms8715

the New Federation, our next upcoming area, is highly hinted at being more of a sci-fi, cyberpunk area. This coincides with their upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 collab, too.

@julius_pat

Ye honestly, it all make sense from Jinhzou being a war torn region, Black Shores being the most technological advanced group, and etc.

But honestly, in future Huanglong regions, I hope we will get more Chinese if you get what I mean. Like the domain with Zhezhi on her companion quest.

And it would also make sense since Jinhzou in lore is considered as Outer Huanglong, which is why it's so mute and war torn. However, Inner Huanglong which are the other 5(or 6 cities, I can't remember) will look much more peaceful.

@bulbasaurpoke1

Agreed 100% upper black shore is still my fav place its so unique and has such unique and chill vibe and very unlikely to topped and it feels also the most alive with all the black shores employees?

@vfxnyx

I am in the right side of the youtube algorithmn, good video +1 sub

@donnycorn3086

One thing I should remind about Kuro (to the point it deserves a whole video about it) is that they respect the figure of an artist.
One of the first boss of Punishing Gray Raven is a corrupted robot Graffiti Artist. When we saw Gray Raven squad went for a space mission for the first time, we're introduced to 2 artists, each represents 2 apparent view of tradition and innovation, and are great friends and are written in a way so relatable to most of the discourse of art right now. WuWa has quite a few as well as the stories of art in the eyes of those who manages with arts (a brief mention of the banana duct taped to the wall there as well.

I think it worked for them because not only will they be able to extend their vision of the world more diverse, but also be able to experiment for a lot of works in the future, and I'm all for it.

(Now if only they can find someone to optimize the game)

@alfonsuskristo1624

If WuWa decides to have a housing system I hope they use the Black Shores and maybe give Rover apartments all over Solaris. It's still mysterious where they stayed in Jinzhou even though it's clear they 're living in Monteli Hotel before moving to Portoveno Castle later in Rinascita.

@Шось

One thing i love about kuro is just how dramatically they lean into feedback. The whining of Huanlong being to grey and monotone was answered with Rinascita, and the current yammering about how Ragunna is so darn bright and fantasy that its not what 1.x players signed up for is most likely to be slapped across by NewFed's cyberpunk vibes. And theres subtle inbetween locations like the Black Shores and Septimont

@robertkruk8754

I love every region, but location with vocals BGM are my favorite.

@doedoel035

Thanks for the video. I really enjoy your insight on Wuthering Waves' art. Can't wait to see what they're bringing up on Septimont!

@achilles3013

Some feedback, in your intro when you played music over some cutscenes, I would have cut the cutscenes audio entirely rather than layering them. It makes the audio bad when there's so much noise. Great video.

@tygarspace1754

I couldn't agree more!
