I think it would be funny and cool if Volvidon was given some sort of pinball mechanic, where he could use walls to bounce off of to create a rolling attack combo. He could be allowed to incorporate his stink into other attacks, e.g. the big jump up and slam down one. Definitely also think he should be able to do more with his paralysis spit.

@lizard7001

The bear gang has been completed

@bobisuncanny2760

I'm not even a fan boy and i can easily answer the why he had so little change : IT'S BECAUSE HE'S A GOOD MONSTER ! Good monster does not necessarily need to change. I mean i first encountered him in 3U and he was already, despite the lacks of new moves, a good-looking monster and a very fun fight for a beggining monster. Even tho i wouldn't mind new moves

@one-rifle0585

The trio of bear, rabbit and armadillo is complete

@TwilightYonder720

Poor Volvidon he wasn't even in Stories 2 either

You should have mentioned as of right now he's the only Rise/Sunbreak Mon that gives the Stink blight which is strange, thought they were gonna ad Conga or Seltas Queen before SB released

@whatthebeardoin3160

Idea: Dynamo Volvidon. Using the ball rolls as a primary focus, this Volvidon generates energy by rolling, perhaps thunder element on it's attacks to signify this. If you don't interrupt it's rolls it'll keep building charges and growing faster and more powerful. At max charge, Volvidon will do a homing roll attack at high speed that drains it's charges and deals massive damage, ending in a Tokyo Drift style spinout to potentially catch you if you dodge the wrong way. Some drifting and turning spins during the regular fight might also give him needed horizontal coverage and make him less linear.

@thecanadiandane7262

I think it would be neat if volvidon could use his digging claws for burrow attacks or to fling large rocks at you, and the wide tongue-sweep could definitely be used in one of Rise’s neat little juggle moves

@paleoraptor1181

Some idea for Volvidon new paterns :
- a grab attack where he catch the hunter before YEET him and crushing him with a huge attack
- a attack where he lead a paralysis ball while jumping into the air, similar to Rajang
- some variant of its paralysis attack, like double or triple projectile ! Why not even gave it a two time attack, like lauching a paralysis ball who stay some time in the floor and make a small explosion !
- just gave it more combo, like lauching a projectile just after a roll or a roll after some slaps.

I know they would be better for a deviant-like Volvidon, but if they made one sometime why not after all

@uteriel282

they could have made him use his tongue to grab a tree or rock piller and swing around like a wrecking ball befor lauching in the direction of the hunter slamming them away on contact.
it would make for a neet little "get away" and "oh shit" moment if you dont see it comming and would make use of both his tongue and rolling gimmick.

@turbochomp

His "fart" attack was him releasing musk in the old games but now he just shits himself mid fight and i hate it

@landenriley8442

I kinda feel sorry for poor Volvidon

@CoolGamer4161

Espinas, jyuratodus, and Bazelguese would be great to see in an evolution video. Espinas could benefit from people knowing what he was like in frontier, jyuratodus seeing as he was changed quite heavily from world to rise, and Bazelguese is my favorite monster.

@aryaozeroch

if gen 5 hadn’t moved away from drawn out pins, maybe it could grab you, roll up, and bounce around, damaging you every impact. teammates could knock you out or dung/sound pod it, but not flash, since it’s eyes are covered when rolling.

@aaa1e2r3

One thing that I do like about Volvidon is that it teaches new hunters positioning, in the same way as Nargacuga does. Since it's constantly moving, Volvi teaches you to move the camera/use targeting to keep up or else you get punished with a paralysis, or a heavy hit. If I was to make a change to Volvi/make a variation, lean into the slams and do something like what Grimclaw Tigrex does but with Volvi's tremor slams.

@ultralandonzilla3978

I'll give volvidon a deviant and give him a fire blast and a fire rolling attack along with some paralyzed attacks with his tounge

@retrodoodlenoodle1708

I think maybe a variant on stench leaving a stench trail that damages you or that maybe even deodorant doesn’t cure, substituting the easy difficulty fight wise for not being able to use items

@liothetitanhunter7959

I love that bear
He seems more unique than the other 2
He looks reptilian with the head, but yet he has ears lol
I thought he didn't have ears but he does, and he seems chimeric as well, half bear skunk armadillo and ant-eater
4 animals in 1
It'd be surprising to see it with a bear with a long tail

@papertreyplz410

good video! Mizutune would be cool to see a video on, or perhaps a lumped together longer video about the history of the fated 4! anyways keep up the good work!

@JoeBaidan-hx2qy

This is my idea for a new subspecies.
Ninja Volvidon: A smaller, brown Volvidon with a spiked carapace. It lives in a dark swamp-like environment with a lot of bugs (or another monster graveyard like the rotten veil). In response to faster bugs, it’s evolved a much longer, thinner tongue that it uses more often. It frequently uses this tongue as a whip and can do a lot of crazy attacks with its precise control over its tongue like grabbing people out of the air, throwing you, launching you and doing a rapid slash combo when you’re in the air, and rapid slashing an area to deal damage without knocking you down. This volvidon has lost the ability to produce paralyzing saliva, but it has gone all in on its stench ability. It can expel stinky beams and explosions from its mouth, do stinky rolls, and make rapid stink explosions. Its stink attacks leave behind residual brown clouds that can apply stink and do damage, forcing you to pay careful attention to positioning. Its spikes allow it far greater control when rolling, and its small size means that it’s faster. It performs short rolls towards the player and quickly changes directions, and can even roll towards you then cancel into a different attack like an explosion, air slam, or tongue attack to catch you off guard. It will frequently hop around, preferring this to small rolls, and will even hop into the air before crashing down while rolled up. It can even do a stink explosion in the air to create a ton of brown clouds all over the arena, and it has an enraged attack where it does a huge explosion that covers everything in a giant stink cloud. It’s a very aggressive monster, so don’t worry about chasing it down. In its new habitat, it’s become a sort of farmer. It hunts down other monsters, kills them, and then covers them in stench to attract lots of bugs. It utilizes this strategy and it’s super precise tongue to catch a ton of bugs, capitalizing on the fast rates of decay and all the bugs in the area to get a ton of food. It’s stench is partially incorporated from its environment. The spikes allow for control of rolling and hood damage, but also traction. It’s weapons are purely physical, and it’s armor has skills that focus on movement and negatively affecting the monster.
