@floobs

I built a broken PC using only working parts... we are not the same.

@duongnhdn

I once saw a listing for a "broken" MSI B450M Motherboard for only 15$. The Seller said it couldnt turn on even tho the lights were on, and they tested all the other components and they all worked fine. I bought it and as I turned it on it worked immediately. After a week, I found out that the previous owner flashed the bios with a version that didnt support his own CPU, which was a 2700X, but once I put my 3700X in, it worked, just like that.

@muzammilkhan-mu3es

plot twist: all the broken parts are actually things Linus dropped over the years

@Cadian45

Holy God, 4h since you uploaded video and my sells on broken components went from 5-10 daily to over 300 today on ebay in Europe.

@ThatCake

Honestly i think theese repair videos strike a really nice balance. They're unscripted so they allow for more personality and off the cuffness, they're full of oppertunities to drop actually good techtips and with the world and market being how they are right now they match the tone perfectly. Keep up the great work yall ^^

@MikkoRantalainen

The prices you guys paid for these broken parts was insane! Shift decimal point one step to left for each broken part and then it starts to make some sense. You should be paying $30 max for a "broken CPU" and maybe $60 max for a "broken GPU" if the description gives some hope of a possible fix. If the seller is asking more for their broken parts, let the seller keep the part or fix it by themselves first.

0:30 Linus is so proud of you young Skywalker, taking after the drop king himself.

@astro143_

Alex is a great host and everyone popping in to work and chat was very entertaining. Love this style stuff!

@barberforce

I recently bought a EVGA 970 for £13 as it was sold with the "DVI port stopped working. Not had chance to test the rest" It worked straight away via HDMI. All EVGA's are to be saved! Such pretty cards

@RaffixOW

@15:05 "Somebody, somebody Linused this one!" - Dan

ROFL 🤣

@rollin9692

Plot Twist: Dan's sweater caused so much static to torched the GPU and we blame it on "drivers" hahahaha

@lolmeOzzi

@GmodbiZMinister

12:03 is exactly the experience every tech has when fixing computer problems.

@Rtten

Would be really interesting to include "broken parts" for the next Scrapyard Wars

@watercannonscollaboration2281

18:40 this is like the “you take it to your friends house and the thing that is broken starts to work again”

@Mariokart6

0:29 That's a super smart way to prove that the part is broken! If it wasn't before, it sure is now lol
